Carolina Neves (1995, Porto) completed the Audiovisual Communication course at Escola Artística de Soares dos Reis in 2013, specialising in Photography.

In 2016, she graduated in Communication Design from Escola Superior de Artes e Design - Matosinhos, simultaneously working as a photojournalist for online magazines, covering concerts and music festivals between 2013 and 2018, and as a Graphic Designer for the creative agency O Estúdio - Maia in 2017.

Carolina has a Master's degree in Sound and Image from Escola das Artes - Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with a specialisation in Cinema and Audiovisual. As a final project, she wrote, directed and edited the short-film ALVORADA (2020). Awarded nationally and internationally and recognized by the Portuguese Academy of Cinema, ALVORADA (2020) is currently still on its' festival circuit.

Subsequently, she directed the documentary Pequenas Grandes Vozes (2021) and the music video Algarve '95 (2021) for the band Ramos Chiller, in addition to editing remotely the webseries Diários De Uma Quarentena (2020) and making several institutional videos.

Carolina worked as Editor and Assistant Director on the short-film A Ânsia (2022), directed by Diogo Pinto, and Assistant Director, Assistant Photographer, Production Assistant and Script Supervisor on the short-film A Noite D'El Rei (in post-production), directed by Miguel Mesquita, the latter project being part of the Hyperion Collective.
She worked as a Video Producer and Photographer for Fundação INATEL, from 2022 to 2023.

Currently, Carolina is working on the pre-production of her next short-film.
